Bachelor of General Studies with Concentration in Humanities

The Bachelor of General Studies with a Concentration in Humanities offers students the opportunity to complete their degrees by taking a variety of humanities courses. Students may develop concentrations in General Studies by selecting courses from among Africana Studies, communication studies, English, foreign language, history, philosophy, and religion. This program is ideal for students who want a broad liberal arts education and greater flexibility in choosing the courses for their degrees. Students will hone their critical thinking and develop perspectives that allow them to synthesize disparate intellectual traditions. Such a course of study will enable students to follow a number of different career paths.
